Step inside one of Essex’s most historic and intriguing buildings as SGP Paranormal takes you on a full night investigation at Saffron Walden Museum.
Established in 1835, this remarkable Grade II* listed building was created to house the collections of the Saffron Walden Natural History Society. Over the decades it has become home to thousands of artefacts — from ancient Egyptian relics and Roman finds to natural history specimens and centuries-old curiosities. The museum is a true cabinet of curiosities, where every room tells a story and every object holds a past.
But where history gathers… so do the spirits.
Staff and visitors have long reported unexplained activity within the building. Footsteps are heard when no one else is present. Objects have been known to move. Cold spots linger in otherwise still rooms. Some believe the energy attached to the vast collection of artefacts has created a hotspot of paranormal activity, while others feel it is the building itself — nearly 200 years old — that holds onto its former inhabitants.
During this investigation you will:
š» Explore the museum after dark
š¦ Take part in structured vigils in active areas
š Use paranormal investigation equipment
šÆļø Experience traditional methods including lone vigils
š£ Investigate rooms filled with historic artefacts and collections
