Join us for a spine-chilling ghost hunt at the British Schools Museum, where we'll explore the haunted history of the building

The first school on the site was founded in 1810 in an old malt house, which then burnt down.

The Victorian Monitorial school room, built in 1837, could hold 300 boys taught by monitors and just one teacher. On previous investigations in this room, we have had great responses using equipment and clear audible phenomena.

The Monitorial school room at the museum, is now the only one left in the world.

William Fitch was the first and only headmaster to live in the headmasters house, from when he built it in 1857 until his death in 1902. The headmasters house now feels quite intimidating, with the feeling of being watched and unwelcome. Again, we have had great responses using the spirit box in the house.

The Victorian Gallery classroom was built to cater for a class of up to 110 boys, all sat on the floors.

During this ghost hunt, you'll explore the eerie corners of the museum, guided by experienced paranormal investigators. Armed with ghost-hunting equipment, you'll have the chance to communicate with spirits and uncover the mysteries that lie within. Whether you're a skeptic or a believer, this event promises a night of excitement and thrills.
